Our Origin
Founded by Beth Berry in 2018, Geist Golf was created to offer a fun, inclusive, and empowering space for women of all golfing abilities. What began as a local passion project has grown into the Geist Ladies Golf League—a vibrant, intergenerational community centered around connection, personal growth, and a shared love for the game.
Our Mission
- To foster a supportive community where fun and friendship are just as important as golf.
- To create accessible opportunities for women new to the game or returning to it.
- To host weekly, low-pressure play focused on enjoyment, not competition.
What We Do
- Weekly 9-Hole Scramble
We play every Wednesday and Thursday at 6 PM at Gray Eagle Golf Club in Fishers, IN. The best-ball scramble format promotes teamwork, keeps things light, and allows all skill levels to enjoy the game.
- Flexible Participation
Pay-as-you-go means you play when you can. No season-long commitments. Prepaid spots are non-refundable but fully transferable to another player.
- Thoughtful Pairings
Players fill out a brief profile to help us create weekly pairings. Want to mix it up or play with friends? Just let us know by email and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
- Smooth Experience
No check-in required. Players receive an email the day before each round with cart details, partners, and starting hole assignments. Just arrive and play.
- Affordable Fun
Rounds are just $30, including greens fee and cart. Rainchecks are available if the course cancels due to weather.
Beyond the Course
- Social Time
Our informal after-round gatherings—often called the “19th Hole”—give players a chance to relax, connect, and enjoy time together off the course.
- Skill Building
Occasional lessons are available through local golf pros Mary Rabb and Michael Zedrick for those looking to improve their game.
- Special Events
From themed scrambles to a monthly book club, Geist Golf offers more than just rounds of golf—it’s a community.
Our Community
Based at Gray Eagle Golf Club, Geist Golf welcomes women from Fishers, Indianapolis, Carmel, and surrounding areas. Most of our members are beginners, and all ages and skill levels are embraced. There’s no pressure, just a genuine love for the game and the friendships that come with it.
